1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Fazaa website and mobile application (the “Service”). Fazaa helps people connect to request and offer community assistance. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Fazaa is a matching and communication platform; it does not itself guarantee assistance or act as an emergency-response, employment, transport, medical, financial, or legal service. The platform is intended to be free to use, supported by voluntary donations, without advertisements or a commission on user arrangements.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. Individuals inside Syria may post requests for assistance, subject to local availability and platform rules; individuals outside Syria may offer assistance but may not post requests for assistance from abroad. You must use the Service lawfully and provide truthful information. We may refuse access where required by law or for safety or misuse concerns.

3. Account Registration and Security

Account creation. Provide accurate, current information and update it when necessary. You may not impersonate another person, create fraudulent or misleading accounts, or register on behalf of another person without proper authority. Verification, when available or required, does not guarantee another user's identity, intentions, qualifications, or reliability.

Security. Keep login credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law. We may take reasonable measures to secure or restrict an account following suspected compromise or misuse.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, Fazaa grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for lawful community assistance. You may not resell the Service, reverse-engineer it unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or bypass access, moderation, privacy, or security controls.

5. User Obligations and Conduct

Lawful and respectful use. Treat others with dignity, describe requests and offers accurately, respect consent and privacy, and comply with applicable law. Do not publish others' private details or their location without authority. Respect anonymous posting and women-only visibility settings, and do not attempt to evade them.

Prohibited activities. Fraud, scams, theft, threats, harassment, discrimination, sexual exploitation, abusive content, impersonation, spam, unlawful trading, malicious uploads, stalking, disclosure of confidential information, and manipulation of reviews or verification are prohibited. Do not misuse distress alerts, send false emergencies, or rely on Fazaa as a substitute for contacting appropriate emergency responders.

Help arrangements and safety. You decide whether to request, offer, accept, or provide assistance. Any payment, exchange, meal, reimbursement, or free arrangement is agreed directly between the relevant users unless a separate, explicitly disclosed programme says otherwise. Fazaa does not charge a commission, is not a party to such arrangements, does not guarantee outcomes, and does not routinely supervise offline interactions. Exercise caution, independently check details and qualifications, and avoid unsafe meetings or sharing sensitive information.

Reporting and moderation. You may report suspicious requests, messages, or conduct. We may review content, issue warnings, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, or remove content to protect users and comply with law. Reports do not guarantee immediate intervention.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Ownership. Fazaa owns or licenses the Service's branding, design, software, and other platform materials. These Terms do not transfer those rights to users.

User-generated content. You retain ownership of material you submit, subject to rights belonging to others. By posting it, you grant Fazaa a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, only for as long as needed and to the extent permitted by law, to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and adapt formatting of that content to operate, moderate, and improve the Service. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload or share it. Public or shared content may be visible to others based on your settings and the Service's operation.

Restrictions. Do not copy, commercially exploit, scrape, or redistribute platform content or other users' information without permission or a valid legal basis.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

As-is basis; no warranty. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, accurate user-provided information, successful matching, users' conduct, or the completion, safety, or quality of assistance.

Risks and liability. Users are responsible for their own decisions, communications, and arrangements. Fazaa does not normally control third-party services, exchanges, payments, transport, or offline meetings. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fazaa is not liable for losses caused by third-party conduct or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or other mandatory legal protections. These Terms do not remove any statutory consumer or data-protection rights you may have.

8. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to compensate Fazaa for reasonable losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your infringement of another person's rights, or material breach of these Terms, except where Fazaa is responsible for the loss. This clause is subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. We may remove content or suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for safety, suspected misconduct, security, legal compliance, or serious or repeated Terms violations. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal. Deletion and retention of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Applicable law. These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory rights and protections that cannot legally be waived.

Dispute resolution. Please contact info@fazaasy.com first so we can attempt to resolve your concern. If no informal resolution is reached, any formal proceedings will be subject to applicable law and the jurisdiction of the competent court.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to Fazaa, safety rules, or legal requirements. We will post updated Terms with a new effective date and notify users of material changes where appropriate. Continued use after valid notice takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law; otherwise you may stop using the Service.
